The Sloc - is back, regraded and resurfaced
Creg Willey's Hillclimb -- Glen Helen
Creg Willey's runs through Glen Helen, north of Ballig Bridge on the TT course, before negotiating Creg Willey's hill, past Sarah's Cottage and on to Lambfell, finishing on the Cronk-y-Voddy straight. The course is approx 1.45 miles.
Lhergy Frissell Hillclimb -- Ramsey
Lhergy Frissell Hillclimb takes the world-famous TT course out of Ramsey, through the famous Ramsey Hairpin, Waterworks and Gooseneck corners. The longest hillclimb in Great Britain, it encorporates part of the original Gordon Bennett Eliminating Trails course of 1904 and the original (car) TT course, from 1905 onwards. The course is approx 1.48 miles.
Entry Fee Statement
The standard entry fee for the full event is £550. Entry for a single day is £200.
The closing date is Thursday 11th April 2024 or as soon as the maximum number of entries has been accepted.
In the event you need to withdraw from the event, your entry fee will be refunded less a withdrawal fee of £20 per day withdrawn.
Payment can be made online or by cheque.
Spectator Information
Spectators are very welcome to come along to view The Sloc and the Lhergy Frissell hillclimb.
Both venues are very accessible and have various good viewing points for spectators. Viewing is free of charge at both venues. The Friday event is not easily accessible, nor does it have any parking facilities, and is therefore unsuitable for spectators.
Warning: Motorsport can be dangerous. Despite the organisers taking all reasonable precautions, unavoidable accidents can happen, in respect of these you are present at your own risk
Please get to your spectator point in good time before roads close and please park considerately well away from the course, bearing in mind local residents and that emergency vehicles may need to get past your vehicle.
Please be aware that the Manx Classic is held on closed public roads, under the Road Races Act. Once the roads are closed there is strictly no access on to the road, including pavements and verges, within the closure area, for the whole of the closure period. Please listen to and respect the wishes of the marshals and officials on duty regards access and spectating. Enjoy the event!
